Welcome to Baghdagyulyan’s family

Welcome to the historic village Khndzoresk and to our hospitable family. We always mention that our family is as large as the number of guests we have that day.

I'm Mery, 26 years old, and work as a translator. Well, I'm the mom of the wonderful Raffi too, who is 3 years old now. My husband, Hrayr, is a soldier and serves in the Armenian armed forces. He is one of the guardians of the border.

We live in a large and old house with our parents-in-law. The house has belonged to us since its establishment and has been in our family for generations. The décor and furnishings are still from the Soviet Times, but we don’t change it. We preserve and enjoy the soul of the history in our place.

My father-in-law is a car mechanic, however, his ancestors were heads of universities. My mother-in-law, Lusine, is the housewife and a lovely grandmother to our son.

You are welcome to our place when traveling in the south of Armenia. We love cooking, and all the meals we have at home are generally produced by us or by our community. We would be honored to share a piece of bread with you and hear about our village, family, hopes, and concerns. We would love to learn about you, your country, and culture. Our doors are always open.
